A working seminar on cultural co-operation between the Nordic Council of Ministers and Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania will be held in Riga on November 2-3, 2005.
The scope of the working seminar is to bring together senior officials from the Baltic ministries of culture and from the Nordic Council of Ministers, as well as leading cultural sector players to discuss the latest developments in the cultural policies of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Furthermore, shall aim to share and examine the experiences of cultural co-operation between the Baltic States and the Nordic Council of Ministers will be shared and examined.
The significance of this meeting in Riga is to find new fields of co-operation and counterparts and explore ways in which the Nordic Council of Ministers together with Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania may set priorities for future co-operation.
